Exercise had always been part of my life, but after my breast cancer diagnosis, movement became my strength, my healing, and one thing I could control when so much felt uncertain.
On December 21, 2021, I was diagnosed with Stage 1 breast cancer. As I faced surgery, chemotherapy, Herceptin, and reconstruction, I kept moving—and discovered just how powerful exercise could be during treatment.
I was fortunate to receive exceptional medical care, but I noticed one important piece was often missing from the conversation: movement.
Exercise helped me feel stronger, more confident, and more in control. It became my lifeline.
That experience inspired Warrior Workouts: to help other women discover their own strength through safe, supportive movement—during treatment and beyond.

But I began to wonder: If movement was helping me this much, why wasn’t exercise a bigger part of the conversation for every cancer patient?
That question became a calling.
After completing my reconstruction and treatment, I discovered the Cancer Exercise Training Institute and became a Certified Cancer Exercise Specialist. I realized I could take what I had learned through my own experience and combine it with specialized training to help other cancer survivors safely incorporate movement into their own journeys.
And that is how Warrior Workouts was born.

Warrior Workouts is about more than exercise. It’s about finding strength when you feel weak, taking back a sense of control, rebuilding confidence in your body, and recognizing that movement can be a powerful part of healing—during treatment, through recovery, and beyond.
My diagnosis changed my life. My journey gave me a purpose. And now, my purpose is to help other warriors find their strength and TAKE BACK THEIR POWER.
